Garmin → onX/Gaia GPX Converter

Upload a Garmin GPX (multiple supported). Choose target app, style & weight (if applicable), optionally update dates, then convert and download.

How to Use

  1. Select Target app: onX Offroad or Gaia GPS.
    • onX: choose Line style & Line weight.
    • Gaia: style/weight are not used by Gaia, so those controls are hidden.
  2. Click Garmin GPX file and pick the file exported from Garmin/MapSource/BaseCamp.
  3. (Optional) Check Update dates to set every date to today (keeps time-of-day).
  4. Click Convert & Download.
    • iPhone/Android: you’ll see the system Share Sheet — choose your target app (onX or Gaia) to import.
    • Desktop: a GPX file downloads automatically. The filename is your original name plus a suffix: … onX converted.gpx or … Gaia converted.gpx.
  5. Import manually (if needed):
    • onX Web: My Content → Import → select the converted GPX.
    • onX iOS/Android: My Content → Import (or use Share Sheet after conversion).
    • Gaia Web: gaiagps.com → Upload (or use Share Sheet on mobile).
    • Gaia iOS/Android: use the Share Sheet or the in-app import flow.

Notes: Garmin DisplayColor is mapped to each app’s palette. For onX, line style/weight are written into the GPX; for Gaia, color is written using the GPX Style extension. This tool runs entirely in your browser — files never leave your device.
